Want to enter the Iron Maltese Militia? Complete one of our challenges according to the rules of the challenge and be enshrined in the the list of militia members. Challenge details below.

Sub 90

Starting March 1st and finished upon fulfillment

First 100 individuals to submit a video of themselves performing a 500 meter row on a Concept 2 Rowerg in under 90 seconds to win a custom challenge coin for the event. If you get 3 members of your crew, family, friends, gym, etc, you get an Iron Maltese Athletics gym flag to go with your coins. Each individual will also get a custom sticker.

To ensure your ability to join the militia you must get a clear video of your screen before you start to show that your Rowerg has been set to 500m and you must show your screen upon completion to show your completed screen shows a time of less than 90 seconds. The video must be unedited to accurately display performance. 

How to set rower distance

Select "workout", then "new workout", and then "single distance". Use the arrow keys to adjust the desired distance to "500". Press the check mark key to set the workout. When you are ready to perform the challenge you can begin rowing and the monitor will automatically start the workout.

Be sure to get the before, during, and after on video! Make sure to post it on instagram and tag us in your video. To "tag" make sure to enter @iron.maltese.athletics on your post. Make sure to get your whole "crew" on one post.

Members will be updated on this page and the challenge will be closed after the first 100 to complete and submit their results. First come, first serve! Good luck!
